It's a Fall Boot Round Up!

We've searched far & wide for the best, sweatshop-free, fabulous boots for this fall. Here are our top four for the season:

Fair Trade Heels

Toni - Brown Faux Leather from Beyond Skin

These gorgeous heeled oxfords are handmade in Spain and are completely Vegan. They are the perfect nod to menswear with a feminine touch.

According to their website, they "work closely with their factories in Spain so they are confident that no-one is exploited in the creation of your lovely shoes and endeavour to source their components and fabrics as locally to our factories as we possibly can to try and reduce their carbon footprint."

Fall Nisolo Boots

Harper Chukka - Latte from Nisolo

These beauties hail from one of our all time favorite shoe stores. Handmade in Peru, these boots would look adorable paired with this season's floral skinnies trend!

Their hope is to "influence a growing culture of conscious consumerism here in the U.S. as well as to offer job creation and access to opportunity for this Peruvian community and others around the world."

Teysha Fall 2013 Boots

Guate Boot - Build Your Own Boot with Teysha

Our friends Sophie & Travis at Teysha are doing an amazing job capturing the most gorgeous fabrics from Guatemala! We love this look with a pair of tailored shorts and a blazer.

By joining their mission you are "helping to create a world in which all people have the opportunity to express themselves, to work for peace and a better future, and connect across borders and cultures."

Fair Trade Oxford Shoes

Osborn Oxfords

Also hailing from Guatemala, these oxfords boast of Guatemalan Ikat Fabric (one of our favorite textile techniques!) Additional unique patterns available in the oxford style. Pair these with a chunky knit cable sweater and a light, flirty skirt.

Here's a bit about their story: "Operating outside traditional fashion seasons, we release small capsule collections throughout the year. We design in Greenpoint, Brooklyn -  and trek around the Americas to source and produce. Every design is a new scavenger hunt. From the design room, to the weaving cooperative, to the factory, to you, Osborn has an uncompromising commitment to process and beauty."
