Some times I come to the blank page full of ideas.

Stories to share about running a business.

New products to fanfare.

This week my mind is mush.

So I decided to call in some help.

I’ve been having some interesting conversations about ChatGPT & its capabilities. I find myself curious how AI could fit (if at all) into my vision for Purse & Clutch.

I decided to enter the following prompt:

“Write a blog post talking about the importance of slow living”

Instantaneously, out popped a post with some pretty good points!

Something about it feels… well … wrong.

Too easy.

Like it’s phoning something in when I value substance & hard work.

I’m currently only using ChatGPT to write our product descriptions to help optimize keywords so people searching online can find us. That feels like a wise use of the technology & my time.

While I’m certainly not ready to simply pass their text on as my own blog post, I also don’t want to just dismiss the ways in which ChatGPT could create more margin in my life so that I can continue to cultivate a more thoughtful life & business.  

Perhaps, as it is with most things, it’s how we do things that matters the most.
