Have you ever thrown an event, party, etc & the moment before you press send you have this thought:

What if no one comes?

You may remember that I was planning on hosting a celebration during Down Syndrome Awareness Day back in March. We had a little snafu with scheduling with the venue & I took the easy way out and cancelled instead of rescheduling.

I chickened out.

Granted, there was certainly an extra level of vulnerability baked into that specific event being so close to my heart, but that’s the truth of it.

I got scared that no one would come.

The day of the event I had so many local Austin folks saying they couldn’t find the link to the details & they were excited to show up.

I definitely spiraled in my mind feeling bad about the way it ended up & how I handled it.

But not this time.

I have a really big business announcement to make & I want to celebrate it with YOU - because I couldn't have done it without this community’s continued support.

When I’ve shared the news with my family & a few close friends, the general reaction has been:
