What? Me too!
Share
As you may have noticed, I’ve been spending more time really showing the behind the scenes of Purse & Clutch, which is really to say showing the behind the scenes of my life - here on my weekly newsletter.
Honestly, it can be nerve wracking pressing send when I’m sharing something vulnerable about my family & our journey with Down syndrome or the internal voices waring in my head as a woman running a business or as a working mom or as I begin to make larger business decisions to increase our impact.
The response I’ve been getting has been so incredible.
Y’all consistently respond with words of encouragement and one of my favorite responses is “What? Me too?!” - making me feel less alone & less crazy.
After a particularly vulnerable week of sharing after World Down Syndrome Week, a thoughtful reader - Hi Jennifer! - responded to the newsletter with the kindest note & mailed me a book she thought I’d like (ps I LOVE IT. Like savoring each paragraph love it.)
That same week a photographer friend - Amanda - reached out on Instagram to offer a complimentary photoshoot of my family as a thoughtful & generous way to support my Down syndrome advocacy work.
I’m obsessed with the photos Amanda took.
How freakin’ cute is my family? : )
If you’re local to Austin & need a photographer, I truly couldn’t recommend Amanda Hoffman Art more.
Basically. I feel so incredibly thankful to have such a dynamic & thoughtful community surrounding me and the work I’m doing with Purse & Clutch.
What better way to let you know how very much I admire & appreciate you than with a Community Appreciation Free Gifts Weekend?!
I’ve done something similar once before, but this time I’m taking it to a whole new level.
I’m having so much fun putting together free gifts to go with different spending tiers.
Gift that are some of my favorite things from my favorite companies.
Gifts that are perfect for gifting for Mother’s Day (it’s on May 11, you’ve got time) to your mom or to yourself as a mom, lol - I know how this works!
Gifts that encourage you to take a moment, slow down & be present with what’s at hand.
I’ll give you a sneak peek of the gifts in next week’s newsletter but the Free Gifts Weekend will start in two weeks on Thursday April 24th at 8:00am when the newsletter goes out.
While I’ve tried to anticipate how many free gifts I’ll need (and I’ve almost doubled how many will be available this time!) last time I sold out of at least 2 gift tiers so be sure to set a calendar alert so you can snag exactly what you want!
I can’t wait to celebrate YOU!
Feeling thankful,
Jen
